ABSTRACTThis report details a severe complication of phenol neurolysis in a diabetic patient, where phenol induced tissue necrosis can lead to severe cellulitis with ulceration that may prove difficult to treat. It emphasizes the importance of considering comorbidities when selecting phenol neurolysis for treatment of chronic pain.
