AbstractTakotsubo cardiomyopathy is a transient cardiac condition commonly triggered by a stressor, presenting with clinical features mimicking acute coronary syndromes. We report an unusual case of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy in a man with severe three‐vessel coronary artery disease awaiting coronary bypass surgery who developed rapid spontaneous recovery of cardiac function before revascularization.
