Date Presented 03/27/20 This research project is intended to evaluate Tai Chi’s impact on balance self-efficacy in occupational performance— specifically in regard to individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). On average, functional self-efficacy scores of participants with MCI increased from 59.8% to 74.6% (p-value = .00736). Results indicate that Tai Chi is an effective intervention to increase balance self-efficacy when performing daily activities in both individuals with and without MCI.
